Job Overview:
We are seeking an ambitious entry-level product manager who will support the requirements documentation for the certified version of our eVTOL aircraft. This role will work with the product director to 1) capture the requirements necessary for Butterfly to meet the intended use applications, 2) collaborate with the technical team on integrating the requirements and 3) track success criteria through the program development on meeting product objectives. The PRD specifies market-driven aspects of the aircraft, such as performance, environmental, mission cases, usage spectrums, passenger integration, avionics, connected vehicle, infrastructure integration and more. It's not expected the applicant will be an expert in all areas, as they will work directly with the product director to capture the primary information for the requirements capture.
This is great opportunity for an earlier-stage candidate who might be looking to transition into a new role.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Actively work with PRD engineering stakeholders to incorporate and monitor the ongoing trade studies to meet the requirements.
- Organize and maintain the aircraft product requirements with assistance from various stakeholders.
- Assist with researching various nascent topics to generate a preliminary product requirement definition.
- Assist the team on trade studies to help determine optimal aircraft attributes to meet the mission cases.
- Learn to define objective requirements with success criteria.
- Manage the requirements capture in JAMA the software utility.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: BS, MS in an engineering-related field.
- Can be a current engineer or technical role looking to transition into new position
- Excellent technical writing and documentation skills.
- Excellent documentation organization.
- 2-5 years of work experience in a technical role.
- Education or work experience in aerospace or automotive.
- Previous or current engineering or technical position.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Recent MBA
- Education or work experience in aerospace, automotive, or electric vehicles is a major plus.
