Biote is the world leader in hormone optimization and we are adding to our team! We partner with providers to take a complete approach to healthier aging through patient-specific bioidentical hormone replacement therapy and the only nutraceutical line created specifically to support hormone health.
We are looking to add an experienced Product Manager with strong nutraceuticals experience and knowledge to our Irving, TX team. You must be located in the Dallas area for this role as it is a hybrid WFH set-up.
The Product Manager, Nutraceuticals will be responsible for managing product life-cycle and new
product development that will contribute to the company’s profitability and strategic vision. The
position will require a blend of strategic thinking, analytical skills, and organizational influence. Translate complex analytical tasks into actionable insights and easily consumable outputs. Key success factors in this role include strong product and project management skills, attention to detail, financial acumen, self-starter attitude, sense of urgency, practicality, agility, collaboration, communication, and data-driven decision making.
Essential Functions
• Develops a comprehensive strategy to drive sales and profitability of the nutraceutical portfolio,
including managing the full lifecycle of products within the portfolio, while utilizing data
analytics to guide decision-making.
• Prepares and distributes performance reports and use data analytics to ensure sales and profit
objectives are accomplished and identify trends, forecast future sales, and recommend
corrective actions as needed.
• Drive and champion data fluency through the creation of standardized metrics, intuitive
dashboards, and compelling business insights.
• Monitors and evaluates the competitive landscape using market research and data analytics to
identify white space opportunities or points of differentiation. Attends key industry trade shows,
including Expo West and Supply Side West.
• Translates patient insights and competitive intelligence into the development of an innovation
pipeline, in cooperation with Supply Chain and R&D to provide a full line of differentiated
products, each meeting target patient needs and offering the highest competitive value.
Leverages analytics to prioritize projects and optimize resource allocation.
• Works with the Executive Team to identify and prioritize product initiatives using data-driven
insights. Acts as liaison with all other corporate functions to ensure business initiatives receive
necessary focus.
• Partners with the Marketing team on product go-to-market strategy.
• Monitors online pricing to ensure Minimum Advertising Pricing (MAP) is being maintained by
the network, using data analytics tools to track pricing trends and identify potential issues.
• Other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred, or a degree in a related field with a strong analytical focus).
• Minimum 3+ years experience in product analytics role, using data analytics tools such as
Amplitude, Heap, AWS Marketplace or Google Analytics.
• Strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
• Ability to parse data that can drive actionable insights and decisions.
• A Self-starter with a curious nature and passion for data.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in data analytics tools, such as Excel, Tableau, or similar platforms, to analyze and
interpret data to drive decision making.
• Significant experience in Product or Brand Management, with a strong emphasis on data
analytics and insights.
• Demonstrated success launching commercially successful products, using data-driven strategies.
• Experience in dietary supplements and or/nutraceuticals, or related healthcare and ecommerce space is preferred.
• Experience with Amazon Marketplace is preferred but not required.
