What We're Building

ComplexChaos.aiis a platform that combines the power of artificial intelligence with the richness of interdisciplinary collaboration. Our goal is to enable clients – non-profits, corporations, and government agencies – to assemble tailored teams of specialists from a wide range of disciplines, to tackle their unique challenges.

The platform will harness machine learning to match project requirements with suitable candidates from our extensive database. With a user-friendly interface, clients can define their project, select disciplines, choose the level of expertise needed, and define project duration.

Your Role and Opportunities

As a technical co-founder, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing our software architecture. You'll be entrusted with building a robust platform that can support complex functionalities and a growing user base.

Some of your primary responsibilities will include:

• Architect, build, and maintain our platform, including our marketplace of experts, client interface, third-party API integrations, and our own custom tools.
• Database Architecture: Creating a scalable and efficient database to store information about a large and diverse pool of academic and professional experts.
• Machine Learning: Developing machine learning algorithms to match project requirements with suitable candidates and integration with LLMs.
• Drive continuous improvement in Agile software development methodologies and establish relevant metrics for tracking software quality.
• API Integration: Building a flexible and secure API marketplace to integrate third-party tools, enriching the platform's functionalities.
• Collaboration Tools: Designing in-house collaboration and brainstorming tools to facilitate effective team interactions.
• Lead all aspects of the company’s technological development.
• Collaborate with the team to understand and translate business strategies into scalable technology solutions.

Requirements:

1. Education: A Bachelor’s or Master's degree and/or PhD in Computer Science, Software engineering, Information Systems, Artificial Intelligence, or related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
2. Experience: 10 to 20 years of professional experience in software development with a focus on machine learning, cloud computing, web and mobile applications. Experience in a startup environment either as a founder who raised venture capital or part of the founding team is highly desirable. Experience designing a marketplace is a plus.
3. Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of data security and privacy regulations.
• Familiarity with APIs and third-party integrations.
• Knowledge of cloud-based services (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
• Experience with machine learning and AI applications.
• Expertise in modern full stack development (e.g., React, Node.js, Python).
