Our global tax team based in Cambridge and Krakow, Poland is responsible for all aspects of direct and indirect taxes including income tax compliance and accounting, sales & use, property, and VAT. We are also responsible for tax planning and forecasting. Further, we are responsible for determining the tax impacts of new transactions and acquisitions.

In this role you will prepare the Company's US Federal income tax returns. You will assist with various tax provision processes. You will foster and develop cross functional partnerships, including with Accounting, Engineering, and Treasury. This position will report to the Senior Tax Manager.

As a Tax Analyst, you will be responsible for:

• Creating Excel spreadsheets and workpapers to support US income tax compliance and provision matters
• Preparing US Federal income tax returns (1120) including foreign informational forms (5471, 8858, etc.) using OneSource Income Tax
• Supporting US federal income tax audits as necessary
• Monitoring, assessing, and implementing new US Federal tax law and procedural changes
• Analyzing income tax accounts and preparing necessary reconciliations
• Assisting in the preparation of the quarterly and annual US income tax provision in OneSource Tax Provision

• Display excellent organization skills, managing priorities and multiple tasks
• Have 2 years of relevant federal corporate tax experience and a Bachelor's degree
• Demonstrate an excellent understanding of Excel (including Pivot Tables, VLookups, etc.)
• Be able to create clear and concise documentation and workpapers

Compensation

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary for this position ranges from $63,845 - $96,138/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
