Tax Accountant - Global Tax Reclaims

As a Tax Accountant 3, you will be supporting Global Tax Treaty Services (GTTS) team members in maintaining the tax reclamation process. The accountant will analyze cross-border investment data and prepare all necessary supplemental application documents to ensure clients receive their refunds. This full-time, onsite role is located at our offices in West St. Paul, MN, with a requirement to work onsite in West St. Paul, MN at least 2 days per week. As is customary with tax positions, this role can be challenging and demanding during peak times throughout the year.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of data-driven tasks, including income data analysis, data scrubbing, data reconciliation and reclaim application compilations, and relevant office tasks
• Support GTTS members in the tax reclamation process, which includes analyzing cross-border investment data and preparing all necessary supplemental application documents to ensure clients receive their refunds

Organize and compile tax reclaims to be submitted to foreign tax authorities for processing

Qualifications
 2+ years’ experience in global tax reclaim processing
 Strong verbal and written communication skills
 Attention to detail
 Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
 Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage deadlines
 Highly motivated with excellent analytical skills
 Desire to innovate and improve upon processes
 Ability to work both independently and within a team
 Ability to maintain professionalism with colleagues and clients
 Commitment to providing the highest level of service for client satisfaction

Education
 Bachelors degree
