Position: Talent Relations Professional

Location: Hawaii (Local candidates encouraged to apply! Mainland candidates with relevant experience will also be considered.)

Type: Full-time, 40 hours/week, Day schedule

About the Role:

As a Talent Relations Professional, you will take on a pivotal role in the HR team, working closely with managers on write-ups, disciplinary actions, investigations, and more. Your exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to build strong working relationships will enable you to collaborate effectively with division leaders and HR partners, ensuring a cohesive and supportive approach to HR matters.

What You'll Do:

Act as the primary liaison between HR and assigned divisions or sites, developing a deep understanding of their operations, needs, and challenges.

Regularly communicate with division leaders and participate in leadership meetings to align HR efforts with business objectives.

Ensure swift HR responses to divisional requests while maintaining consistency across all divisions.

Assist in the development and implementation of policies and practices to promote a positive work environment and employee well-being.

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience with HRIS, preferably PeopleSoft.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage in consulting and project management.
  • Master's degree highly desirable.
  • Solid knowledge of employment laws (EEO, ADA, AA, FMLA, etc.) and other regulatory/statutory requirements.
  • At least five (5) years of progressive experience in Human Resources, collective bargaining, or Employee and Labor relations. Three (3) years of experience in a supervisory capacity or Employee and Labor relations experience, with emphasis preferably in healthcare.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
