As a Senior Employee Relations Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in fostering positive employee relations throughout the organization. Working under the guidance of the Assistant Vice President of Workforce Diversity & Inclusion, you will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and administering employee relations processes. Your expertise will be vital in providing information to various departments and Board employees, ensuring they understand and comply with relevant policies and procedures.

This dynamic role will keep you engaged and challenged as you analyze information and compile statistics, preparing reports, presentations, and recommendations for management-level meetings and decision-making. Your exceptional investigative skills will be put to the test as you handle complex, high-exposure cases, conducting thorough investigations. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with managers and supervisors, providing guidance on interpreting and implementing board policies and employment laws.

Your impact will extend beyond the HR department, as you partner with other areas of the organization, such as Risk Management and HR Business Partners, to address employee relations issues, complaints, and investigations. You will also contribute to the development of new or revised programs, policies, and procedures aimed at improving employee experiences and resolving HR-related challenges.

To excel in this role, you will need a bachelor's degree in human resources management, psychology, business, or a related field, along with at least five years of professional-level HR experience. Possessing excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, is essential, as you will interact with individuals at all levels of the organization and external entities such as governmental agencies like the EEOC and TWC. Your ability to prioritize competing demands, maintain objectivity, and engage in conflict resolution will be crucial to your success.

Special Requirement

Must obtain a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) Airport Identification/Access Badge (badge) in accordance with Department of Homeland Security Transportation Security Administration (TSA) requirements in Chapter 49 of the Code of Federal Regulations Part 1500 et. Al. and DFW Airport’s Airport Security Program within thirty (30) days from date of employment and maintain qualification for a SIDA badge upon each badge renewal.
