Revolutionize talent practices at Pinterest! We’re looking for a well-rounded Talent Management professional with experience developing robust programs that support career growth, talent development, workforce and succession planning. As an experienced program designer, you’ll have the opportunity to positively impact every Pinployee’s career experience as we advance our career growth and talent management practices.


Building on our newly implemented Career Framework, the Talent Management Lead will report to the Director of Talent Management and will be responsible for the design, development, implementation and management of key Talent programs at Pinterest including Career Development, Talent Assessment, Talent Review, Succession Planning and Workforce Planning.


The ideal candidate will have solid program design and management skills across Talent Management disciplines and a proven track record of effective partnership and collaboration, creating operational efficiency while maintaining high customer satisfaction.


What You’ll Do


  • Provide thought leadership around the design, launch and delivery of Talent Management solutions: Career Development, Talent Assessment, Talent Reviews, Succession Planning and other talent solutions.
  • Partner closely with the HRBPs, People Leadership Team and business leaders to design and embed Talent Products across the company.
  • Leverage design thinking, user centered design, and other stakeholder engagement techniques to engage employees, managers, and leaders globally in the design and development of Talent Management programs.
  • Present solutions to HR and Business leaders to influence and generate buy-in to proposed solutions/approaches.
  • Create plan and approach in partnership with People Technology and People Insights and Analytics team to ensure Talent processes are appropriately enabled by technology and that critical data is captured and accessible.
  • Measure and assess the impact of Talent programs, including both short and long-term metrics and reporting. Analyze data to develop insights and recommendations.
  • Work with the Total Rewards and Talent Management Leadership Team to design and deliver executive level summary updates and presentations, including business impact, and supporting data analysis.
  • Drive continuous improvement using a combination of internal data analysis, external benchmarking, process discipline, and innovation trends impacting Talent Management processes and programs.
  • Conduct stakeholder analysis, assess change readiness, develop strategic change management plans, and create communications plans to drive awareness, engagement, and adoption of Talent Management processes and programs


What We’re Looking For


  • Understanding of HR technology systems including Workday
  • Proof of pragmatic, business focused approach to
  • 3+ years of large scale program design and management experience
  • Understanding of the current and future trends in Career Architecture, Career Development, Talent Management, and Performance Management, especially in a dispersed, global environment
  • Able to rally others around a shared plan - influencing people across teams, levels, and functions to deliver results
  • Experience in the design, development and delivery of business processes, products and systems
  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience with most recent experience in Talent Management or a discipline within Talent strategy
  • Comfort with using data to drive direction and decision making
  • Energized by working in a team / with others, on problems without clear answers
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with demonstrated ability to communicate complex ideas simply and clearly
  • Able to lead/guide multiple work streams and vendors to successful outcomes
  • Proven experience in executive and senior leader facilitation to drive to decisions and actions
