Job Description
The advertising landscape has changed dramatically over the last few years, fueled by innovation and solutions that allow the industry to do more with less. VideoAmp sits as a frontrunner of an even bigger change: a new way for advertisers to more accurately and more efficiently measure their media investments, dismantling legacy processes that waste time and money. The next year is a pivotal time for the company as we focus our efforts on adding value to the entire advertising ecosystem- all the way from decision makers on the buy and sell sides, to audiences across platforms consuming ads.


Leading the newly created Brand team and reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer, the Vice President or Senior Vice President of Brand will be responsible for developing and executing the company's brand strategy to drive market awareness and growth, supporting the team’s goal to build brand love. You will work cross-functionally across the organization with teams including PR, Product, Creative, Sales and Tech, to ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints. This is a strategic leadership role that requires a deep understanding of the qualitative and creative aspects of brand marketing, owning all top of funnel marketing strategies including OOH, digital video, radio, print, organic social media and company blog.


Responsibilities


  • Collaborate with the Marketing, Product, and Sales teams to develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns that effectively communicate the brand's value proposition to customers and prospects.
  • Manage the brand's budget, allocating resources effectively to maximize the impact of brand-building initiatives.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, representing VideAmp at industry conferences, events, and speaking engagements, and establishing relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Oversee the completion of brand research initiatives, including bi-annual market surveys to understand brand health.
  • Lead a team of brand professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to foster a high-performance culture and ensure the team's success.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in brand growth and incorporate relevant insights into the company's brand strategy.
  • Drive brand awareness and recognition in the advertising industry (across brands, agencies and publishers) through innovative marketing initiatives, thought leadership, and strategic partnerships.
  • Develop strategic opportunities to engage across the industry- including sponsored events, panel opportunities and contributed press.
  • Develop and execute the overall brand strategy, vision, and positioning for VideoAmp, aligning with the company's business and objectives and target audience.


Qualifications


  • Ability to move quickly and execute in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, prioritizing initiatives as needed for a lean team
  • A collaborative and team-oriented approach, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior executives.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of successfully managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and analytical abilities, with a keen understanding of market dynamics and consumer behavior.
  • A creative mindset with a passion for innovation and staying ahead of industry trends.
  • Proven experience (10+ years) in brand strategy and growth, preferably with experience in high growth startup organizations.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing comprehensive brand strategies that drive business growth and brand equity.


Perks


This position pays between $185,000 - $240,000 for VP level candidates or $215,000 - $285,000 for SVP candidates + Bonus + Equity + Benefits. The actual compensation offer will be determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, applicant's qualifications, skills, and experience.
