Enterprise Records and Health Information (ERHI) currently has an outstanding opportunity for a SUPPLY CHAIN BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE ANALYST.
The Supply Chain Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst will work as a member of the UW Medicine (UWM) Supply Chain Informatics team to further ongoing initiatives of streamlining and enhancing operational reporting for Supply Chain. This role's focus will be on, but not limited to, enabling Business Intelligence (BI) and data-driven decision-making for UWM Supply Chain.
Additionally, the BI analyst will provide partner support for operational and ad-hoc efforts, as well as internal partnering with other SCM teams on strategic projects and data maintenance. Tasks will emphasize data needs assessment, manipulation of quantitative data, report standardization,and process definition, applying knowledge of data from Supply Chain's flagship system, Horizon Enterprise Materials Management (HEMM).
Under general direction of the Data Analytics Manager, the BI Analyst will support other units within UWM Supply Chain and customers from other UWM entities. The BI Analyst will be expected to be able to synthesize diverse and sometimes competing stakeholder needs in ambiguous environments to provide a quality product. The person in this position must understand organizational business objectives and processes and then conceptualize, document, collaborate on, implement, and communicate the design of solutions for operational activities. The BI Analyst will develop, revise and analyze queries and reports, visualizations, and provide analytical services.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Understand how data flows between HEMM and its downstream and upstream systems, MPOUS and HSM, to ensure data is organized properly for reporting/analytics
Provide actionable intelligence with existing metrics or identify, develop and propose new metrics;
REQUIREMENTS:
Equivalent experience may substitute for degree.
