Job Description

Responsibilities


  • Work with customer-partners and domain specialists to generate reporting, application, and integration requirements as part of planned objectives or ad hoc requests
  • Partner with the Central Analytics Organization to apply Blue standard methodologies for data management and visualization
  • Facilitate and/or support discussions and follow-ups with key areas of the business to drive cost, schedule and quality improvements
  • Pull and prepare supply chain data from data models, data tables or other sources to utilize in both quick turn requests and broader scoped projects
  • Support vertical integration opportunities by providing technical data to support business cases (e.g. financial modeling, manufacturing cycle time, machine utilization, etc.)
  • Develop and implement supply chain risk mitigation plans
  • Support supply review scenario planning to assess ability to meet demand requirements across programs
  • Develop, update and review technical documents, including command media (process documentation) as recommended improvements are implemented
  • Collaborate cross functionally to collect, document and communicate business requirements to solve ambiguous and complex partner issues, ensuring a systematic approach to all executive critical issues
  • Serve as a change agent with strong credibility and influence in the organization
  • Incorporate key insights from multiple areas of the business that help to drive strategic recommendations
  • Work with supply chain customers to identify opportunities and define requirements to improve the organization with data analysis, prototype metrics, and data dashboards to drive business decisions
  • Serve as a "fire fighter" to address immediate and critical supply chain risks


Qualifications


  • Excellent written communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, Tableau or similar reporting/analysis tools
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Finance or other quantitative field OR equivalent combination of technical education and work experience
  • Excellent technical writing skills
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Supply Chain Analyst, Financial Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar position
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
  • Strong organization skills with an attention to detail
  • Good judgement, initiative, and ability to deal with last-minute changes or critical issues
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects
  • Experience with financial analysis


Desired


  • Experience with vertical integration strategy execution (Make/Buy)
  • Experience with change management / adoption
  • Business domain knowledge in procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, aerospace
