Expectations

We are looking for highly self-motivated individuals to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and bias for action.Seeking individuals who require little to no oversight who are experienced at collecting and synthesizing quantitative and qualitative information from multiple stakeholders and translating data.Must present and have a track record of successful enterprise-wide project management, ideally able to both start from scratch and build on others’ work to improve existing frameworks and tools.


Description

Project Analysts/BOM Specialists oversee supporting the development and implementation of aerospace projects. We are seeking a motivated Project Analyst to collaborate with multiple Engineering departments to generate and support a Master Build of Materials (BOM) for a new project. This includes researching, coordinating with other programs for commonality, working with purchasing/vendors to meet scheduled deadlines. The Analysts/ Manager should have an extensive Aerospace knowledge (but not limited to), excellent communication skills to work with other departments to coordinate the production of sub-assemblies.

We are seeking a motivated, detail oriented, energetic Project Analyst/Manager who will be responsible for developing and managing a new project’s Bill-of-Material (BOM). In this role, the Analyst will also review drawings and supply feedback to engineers, and track and report on product order/delivery status. The Analyst will also collaborate with Engineering, Configuration Management, and Manufacturing departments to mitigate the risks to the schedule and deadlines by raising key issues and presenting options for resolution to cross-functional partners.


Responsibilities

  • Understanding and Technical skills sufficient to review and interpret engineering drawings, documents, schematics, and technical requirements.
  • New Product Induction (NPI process) a plus.
  • Experience in Procurement, Manufacturing, Material Planning, Managing Supply Chain Vendors, Manufacturing of Sub- Assemblies, and Logistics are a plus.
  • Excellent MS Excel knowledge: data capture, analysis, and presentation.
  • Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) a plus.
  • Initiative-taker and can work with ambiguity.
  • Be proficientusing standard off-the-shelf video conferencing programs (i.e., Teams, Google, Zoom etc.) as well as standard operating systems (Windows, etc.)
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal).
  • Ability to multitask, adjust priorities and manage time wisely in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience creating and managing a Build of Materials (BOM) consisting of 10,000+ Parts.
  • Familiarity with Aerospace Mechanical, Flight Controls, APU, Hydraulic and Fuel Systems is preferred.
  • Solid collaboration skills.


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in an Aerospace Engineering or Analyst Role.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong understanding of aircraft systems and how they operate.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Experienced at collecting and synthesizing quantitative and qualitative information from multiple stakeholders and translating data.
  • 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain/Hardware tracking.
  • Track Record of successful enterprise-wide project management, ideally able to both start from scratch and build on others’ work to improve existing frameworks and tools.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Highly motivated self-starter with a bias for action.
  • BA/BS/Masters degree in engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, or Systems) or relevant field.
  • AWS/Azure Certifications
  • Experience building tools for Data Analytics with Excel Power Query, SQL, Tableau, Windchill or Jules
  • Experience with new product introduction (NPI) and/or aerospace manufacturing.
  • Experience with Continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles.
