A Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for taking the data that a company holds and mining it to achieve valuable insights. These insights are then used to inform critical business decisions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that data is being correctly gathered, stored, and analyzed

• Manage rhythm of the business ensuring performance results is prepared on time, business drivers identified, and flag business trends that can impact forecast

• Develop methodologies to improve data analysis and/or processes

• Demonstrates an informed knowledge of digital marketing/e-commerce to resolve problems and understand business trends

• Manage specific project timeline and content development for partner meetings

• Serves as a liaison between the business team and the data organization

Qualifications:

• 5-7 years experience preferred

• Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, Adobe Analytics

• Strong reporting skills to present insights concisely via visuals

• Able to work both alone to analyze findings as well as a member of a team to work with other departments

• Ability to communicate findings with management and conduct necessary research to offer solutions to problems

• Project management skills in order to handle diverse projects, often times simultaneously, and meet aggressive deadlines

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

• Ability to increase operating efficiency

• Basic knowledge of data/reporting tools in order to quickly learn how data streams are stored and utilized by the team

Deliverables:

-Process Flows

-Mentor and Knowledge transfer to client project team members

-Participate as primary, co and/or contributing author on any and all project deliverables associated with their assigned areas of responsibility

-Participate in data conversion and data maintenance

-Provide best practice and industry specific solutions

-Advise on and provide alternative (out of the box) solutions

-Provide thought leadership as well as hands on technical configuration/development as needed.

-Participate as a team member of the functional team

-Perform other duties as assigned.
