About Our Client

• Strong Commercial project pipeline with a focus on mixed commercial projects such as: Class A Offices, Correctional Facilities and Stations, Hospitals, K-12, Higher Education, and other mixed commercial projects throughout Houston and the Greater Houston area
• Working for a reputable and nationally known General Contractor
• Project values ranging from $1 Million - $100+ Million

The Superintendent will be responsible for managing all aspects of projects including client schedules, budgets, relationships and profitability through project completion. The Commercial Construction Superintendent will also be responsible for collaborating with the Project Manager to refine, develop and update project schedules to ensure all criteria are identified and up to date. Select Responsibilities:

• Attain a thorough and complete understanding of the Prime Contract, all subcontracts, the drawings, and specifications.
• Proactively identify design deficiencies, schedule concerns, and other project specific issues.
• Maintain appropriate documentation throughout the project including change order logs, RFI logs, and submittal lots.
• Meet weekly and communicate daily with subcontractors to assess project progress, schedule, changes and deliveries.
• Communicate daily with owners, tenant reps, construction managers, superintendents and project coordinators to ensure progress toward the common goal is achieved.

The Successful Applicant

• Experience leading Projects such as: Class A Offices, Correctional Facilities and Stations, Hospitals, K-12, Higher Education, and other mixed commercial projects
• Sufficient in Procore
• 3+ years as a construction superintendent
• OSHA Certified
