Qa Lab Technician (Onsite: Houston, Tx)

Shift Details:

Monday- Friday | 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

The QA/QC Lab Technician, under direct supervision, trains and becomes familiar with the chemical hygiene plan and the current HSE laboratory safety standards.

• Pay Rate: $20.00 - $24.00/hour
• Location: Houston, TX
• Contract Length: 1 - 2 years

Responsibilities

• Job tasks, correctly performed, have minimal impact upon the viability of the organization.
• Follows prescribed safety rules and regulations in performing assigned duties.
• Maintains files and documentation related to test equipment and test results of equipment.
• Learns to document test data for reporting purposes.
• Learns to build equipment and/or perform basic material or environmental tests using basic techniques with electrical/electronic, chemical, and mechanical equipment.
• Performs duties to conduct prototype or laboratory tests following prescribed procedures.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office- Excel
• Familiarity with general lab procedures
• Four year degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry required.
