Electrical Designer Jobs

LPA is seeking a passionate Electrical Designer to join our integrated team of architects, engineers, interior designers, landscape architects and master planners. As a member of our electrical engineering team, you will work on a broad range of projects from office, education and recreation buildings to complex laboratories, health care facilities, and performing arts centers. Our award-winning projects aim to have a positive and enduring environmental, economic and social impact.

You will join a high-performing, fast paced, multi-disciplinary design team, and you will impact projects at each stage of design and across LPA’s nine market sectors. Electrical Designer Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 0-5 years of experience in electrical engineering and the design of building power and lighting systems

Electrical Designer Requirements:

• Enthusiastic commitment to the multidisciplinary design process and team environment
• Committed to building a long-term professional career
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit; good knowledge of industry software is preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Electrical Designer Responsibilities:

• Prepare engineering calculations and documentation for schematic design, design development and construction documents
• Review and process construction administration documents
• The electrical designer will assist Project Engineers and Project Managers in the execution of specific assignments
• Select equipment, systems, and products related to projects
• Receive mentorship and training from senior engineers, designers and project leaders

The salary range for this position is $62,000 - $90,000 and is eligible for annual bonus. If you are hired at LPA, your base salary is based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience and/or project complexity.
