Position Overview

The structuring analyst/associate will work across securitized products asset classes, including commercial and residential real estate, consumer, commercial, transportation, energy, and esoteric ABS to support financing and securitization transactions.

Primary Responsibilities

• Learn and develop marketing materials related to securitization offerings for banking, trading, distribution and investors
• Analyze collateral pools and create asset cash flow models for base case and stress case scenario analysis
• Understand rating agency methodologies and stress scenario approaches
• Work closely with origination team to develop, analyze, and explain different structuring alternatives and help advise clients on solutions
• Design and optimize liability cash flow models for a wide variety of structures for financing and securitization transactions

Qualification And Experience

• Ability to multitask and work in the high paced environment across many different projects and asset classes
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Knowledge of mathematical techniques and models
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Exposure to quantitative investment strategies
• Engineering stochastic calculus, computational methods, risk engineering and modelling techniques, database management, and pricing and hedging skills
• Aptitude for computer programming
• At least 2 plus years' experience with structured products in the financial industry (investment bank, investment firm, accounting firm or rating agency)
• Previous financial modeling experience
• Strong technical skills, ability to learn new software tools and scripting languages

Base Salary Range

$110,000 - $200,000

The base salary range for this position is listed above. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed here.
