Atlassian is seeking a Strategy and Business Operations Senior Manager who will partner directly with leaders in our Experience Platform organization - that is, the teams responsible for Atlassian's set of cross-cutting user experiences that differentiate and make Atlassian products greater than the sum of their parts.

At Atlassian, the Strategy & Business Operations team is a high impact team that works closely with business leaders across the company. Our team takes a lead role in driving strategy, growth, and business operations. You'll own projects from inception to execution and delivery, ensuring that the strategies you develop are creative and offer high-quality and impactful recommendations to business partners.

In this role, you'll get to:

  • Define appropriate goals/OKRs to track progress against strategic objectives
  • Build financial and analytical models to identify measurable insights, exercise sound business judgement, and develop recommendations to influence and drive consensus across functional leaders
  • Keep a tight pulse on business performance and reporting, including "quarterbacking" a cross-functional team to diagnose problems when they occur
  • Partner directly with product and go-to-market teams to support the delivery of strategic recommendations and analyses
  • Drive and influence the long-term vision for Atlassian's user-facing platform capabilities

On your first day, we'll expect you to have:

  • Demonstrated experience in contributing to business case development/strategic recommendations from end-to-end
  • Proficiency in financial modelling and building revenue and cost drivers
  • Excellent verbal & written communications skills
  • Experience supporting qualitative and quantitative customer or market research
  • Experience in corporate strategy, product/platform strategy, strategic finance, or similar, and have a foundational understanding of platform and SaaS business models

It's great, but not required of you to have:

  • Experience using SQL for analysis
  • Industry experience in SaaS or platform business models
  • Knowledge of BI tools and technologies (e.g. Tableau)

Compensation
At Atlassian, we tie our base pay ranges to role and level. In the United States, that means your base pay ranges will fall into one of three geographic pay zones depending on your location. Our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $141,400 - $198,030
Zone B: $127,300 - $178,227
Zone C: $117,400 - $164,365
Within each range, base pay is ultimately determined based on your skills, expertise, and experience. This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and/or equity.
