The Strategy Analyst is entrusted with the task of supporting our client's long-term strategic goals. This role entails providing insightful analytical findings and collaborating with multiple stakeholders across the business. You will excel in problem structuring, project planning and management, cross-functional collaboration, financial valuation, and strategic planning, all of which contribute to the development of opportunities. Your expertise will play a vital role in driving our client's strategic initiatives to success.
This position is located at our client's national headquarters in the Dallas Fort Worth region. Our client is an esteemed industry leader, with a strong presence in the mining and minerals sector, operating across 25 countries worldwide.
Responsibilities are, but are not limited to:
- Employ strong analytical skills to evaluate market dynamics, financial value of projects, and validate business planning inputs.
- Take charge of project management, spearhead decarbonization initiatives, and provide support in Mergers and Acquisitions endeavors as necessary.
- Effectively communicate analysis findings to cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
- Drive the development and execution of strategic plans and foster sustainable growth in the supply chain.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree in Business Administration preferred.
Experience: 3-6 years in strategy, supply chain, finance, consulting, investment banking, mergers and acquisitions, or industrial/manufacturing environments; 5 years preferred.
Behaviors: Proactive self-starter; strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
Capabilities: Capable of performing tasks and accessing plant locations; willingness to work in different environments; physical actions include standing, walking, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, talking, seeing, hearing, and sitting; ability to lift up to 50 pounds; up to 15% travel as directed.
Other: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word; SAP knowledge is a plus.
