Front Gate Tickets is owned by Live Nation Entertainment and acts as Ticketmaster’s festival arm. We are headquartered in Austin, TX but have a mix of local and remote employees on the team and throughout the organization.

THE ROLE:

The Fraud Analyst investigates various forms of fraud and risk by reviewing transactions and accounts. The position will work closely with Customer Service, Client Operations, Compliance and Accounting to mitigate risk. The Fraud Analyst will perform all duties involved in fraud detection including, but not limited to the review of customer transactions, review of fraud claims initiated by customers and/or financial institutions, address verification, use of internal and 3rd party tools, and the review and analysis of information/reports to identify and address all potential credit card fraud, friendly fraud, and other issues that may impact the business in a negative way.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Investigate chargebacks and build dispute cases
  • Identify whether a transaction is valid or fraudulent
  • Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential
  • Complete special projects and miscellaneous assignments as assigned
  • Examine any cases of actual or suspected fraud and noncompliance
  • Identify and communicate potential process improvements to the fraud process
  • Complete order screening accurately and in a timely manner
  • Contact customers via telephone to verify purchases
  • Identify fraud patterns and communicate these to team members and management

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Ability to work independently
  • Detail oriented with excellent research, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Must be detailed oriented and able to think analytically
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
  • High school degree or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • MS Office knowledge
  • Knowledge of card processing, payment fraud detection or fraud management a plus
  • Excellent organizational, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • 1-2 years of experience in risk management, fraud investigation, or chargebacks
  • Experience with Fraud mitigation software a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, typing ability, and professional telephone manner
  • Ability to understand multiple systems and processes
  • Requires open availability to accommodate a 5 day workweek to include Saturday and/or Sunday and holidays. Shifts many change due to business needs
