As a Commercial Bank Solutions - Product Strategy, Senior Associate in Commercial Banking Solutions , you will assist the Emerging Middle Market (EMM) and Innovation Economy (IE) Product Strategy team in its core responsibilities which include creating a solution set for these clients, understanding their unique and changing needs, defining the value proposition, conducting market research, owning topline business case development, prioritizing product and solution enhancements, driving the review of product expansion via new channels and features, data analysis, executive reporting, sales enablement and training. This will all be done in lockstep with our Commercial Banking Solutions colleagues, as well as other relevant cross line of business functions such as product and industry specialists, marketing, finance and client-facing teams.


Job Responsibilities


  • Understanding product usage and trends across the Commercial Bank client base to identify areas of opportunity and vulnerability
  • Collaborating with Risk, Legal, Compliance, Marketing, KYC, and Finance as needed while supporting all compliance and risk initiatives
  • Refining and re-engineering end-to-end process for product delivery, and implementing change with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Representing Commercial Bank client interests as a product liaison to develop future state product roadmaps
  • Partnering with Change Readiness team to manage impact and readiness to Commercial Bank clients, Treasury Solution Sales, Bankers, Service and Implementation related to new product/enhancement launches, product defects/ migrations/ exits, policy changes, etc.
  • Assisting in product strategy initiatives to support requirements across industries and client segments
  • Coordinating and prioritizing product enhancements via input from Clients, Product Solutions Specialists, Senior Leaders, TMOs, and Bankers
  • Facilitating execution of internal collateral, marketing material, and communications to support cross-functional teams in product delivery
  • Creating presentations and reports for stakeholders, senior leadership, and external partners, reviewing product expansion opportunities, quantifying financial impacts and tradeoffs, and tracking progress against strategic priorities


Required Qualification, Capabilities, And Skills

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills


  • BA/BS business degree or a related discipline
  • Product Management experience preferably gained within Financial Services
  • Commercial Banking and/or Digital experience - strong point of view on the future of Treasury & digital landscape informed by experience and research
  • Proven experience of shipping/delivering products using modern software development methodologies and practices (SDLC, Agile, Scrum, etc.), and tools
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant banking experience with demonstrated experience in payments
