Voltera’s mission is to move the world closer to a zero-emissions future through tackling the toughest challenges associated with EV charging infrastructure. We site, build, and operate EV charging depots for commercial fleets across sectors ranging from delivery and distribution to autonomous vehicles and ride hailing. We are looking for an experienced and formulaic Program Manager that will be responsible for organizing and coordinating facility operations program initiatives. This role will manage the programmatic vision, strategy roadmap, development, and continued improvement of facility maintenance, workplace operations, physical security, and EH&S verticals. The ideal candidate will be nimble and versatile; they will have a strong programmatic approach but also the flexibility and creativity to source, interpret, and utilize data to create right-sized current and future state facility program roadmaps.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Develop new programs to support the strategic direction of the Facilities Operations organization and Voltera as a whole
- Develop evaluation methods to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement
- Regularly meet with cross-functional partners to understand other departmental programs and create alignment strategies for the Facilities Operations organization
- Develop budgets and operating plans as needed to support Facilities Operations initiatives and goals
- Organize programs and tactical activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the Facilities Operations organization
- Produce accurate and timely reports of program statuses throughout their associated life cycles for executive level review
- Understand business-critical objectives and put in place guardrails and gates needed to prioritize program work; communicate those priorities to cross-functional partners and create healthy accountabilities with them
MUST-HAVE:
- 8+ years of progressive experience including 5+ years of relevant program management experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a built environment skillset (e.g., Architecture, Engineering, or Facilities Management), Business, Communications, or other related field; or equivalent experience
- Superior organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple programs and priorities simultaneously
- Proficiency in one or multiple program or project management tools such as Smartsheet, Asana, Wrike, Trello, etc.
- Ability to travel up to 10%
- Prior experience structuring and leading impactful program initiatives from the ground up
NICE-TO-HAVE:
- PgMP or PMP certification
- Experience building and leading workplace operations programs for a startup or rapidly scaling company
- Experience with EV charging infrastructure development within real estate projects and programs
- Vehicle fleet operations program management
- Experience with planning/design/implementation of clean energy assets within a built environment
- Experience building strategies and managing competing initiative priorities for new facilities via a robust or growing real estate portfolio
LOCATION:
- USA, Remote
Compensation ($105,000 to $135,000): Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Our total compensation package includes the base salary and competitive benefits.
