Junior consulting position for those who are continuing to develop their expertise. Receives general instruction on routine work and detailed instruction on new projects or assignments.
As a member of a project team, follows standard practices and procedures to analyze situations/data and provide quality work products to deliver functional and technical solutions on applications and technology installations. Work involves some problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying relevant Oracle methodologies and practices. Implements Oracle products and technology in various industries to meet customer specifications.
1-3 years of overall experience in relevant functional or technical roles. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Demonstrates competence in a minimum of one product or technology area. Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.

Oracle Cerner is hiring for a Consultant I to help implement and manage projects. As a Consultant, you will be responsible for a variety of managerial duties including analyzing and reviewing forecasting, team billability, associating complex issues, as well as a mentor for associates as they progress in their careers. As a Consultant, you will consult with clients on comprehensive service line workflows, including current state and future state, and work with clients to map out stop-start-continue processes to determine how the system will be designed and tested. You will identify, resolve and report solution status, risks, and issues to client and project leadership, coach clients on data collection and system design requirements and analyze to determine optimal solution build and implementation. You will also consult with the internal project and organizational teams to bi-directionally share configuration status, project timelines, and project updates, and verify configuration requests. As a key member of the team, you will maintain client relationships and navigate through conflict and complex relationship situations to achieve business objectives, coach and mentor associate consultants, and support internal team initiatives.
Basic Qualifications
- More than 1 year of technical support experience within systems
- Experience with technical resolutions, system configuration, and working with development teams cross functionally
- At least 4 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate management or leadership experience
- JIRA, Java, SQL, etc.

- Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
- Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
- Willing to travel up to 0-25% of the time
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned
