Job Description

The Senate Finance Committee (Republican staff) seeks a Staff Writer/Editor to work with communications and policy staff to vet materials being prepared for distribution, including press materials, speeches, educational documents and reports. The candidate must have strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to write clearly, persuasively and concisely about topics ranging from the economy to tax, health care and trade policy. Competitive candidates must also have the ability to create visual content, including graphs and charts, for educational materials. The flexibility to work under tight deadlines and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously is essential.
