Quantitative Trader Jobs

We are working with a quantitative trading firm that has been trading in equities, options and commodities for the past 8 years. They've opened up a new requirement for a Quant Trader to join their team in New York (hybrid/remote).

The firm is seeking a talented Junior Algorithmic Trader to join the team and they'll wait up to 6 months for an NC.

Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and optimizing trading strategies using quantitative analysis and algorithmic trading techniques.

Collaborate with senior traders and quants to develop, implement and execute trading strategies using quantitative analysis and algorithmic trading techniques.

Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential trading opportunities and develop models to predict future market trends.

Develop, test, and optimize algorithmic trading strategies using data-driven approaches and statistical analysis.

Essential skills:

BS in Comp Sci/ Mathematics/ Physics or similarly related field.

1-2 years of work experience in quantitative finance industry or related field.

Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with a deep understanding of statistical analysis and financial markets.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or C++ & experience in data analysis and visualization tools such as Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib.

Beneficial skills:

MSCS or similarly related field.

Mathematical achievements / competitions.

Constant hunger to stay at the forefront of technology.

Compensation:

Base for the role is between $150,000-200,000 with a bonus that'll bring this to $400,000. Sign on can be added on to cover bonuses/ act as a sweetener.
