Albert Bow are currently working with a very exciting bank with 900m AUM looking to expand their team massively over the coming months and are currently looking for a single stock market making trader with ETF experience.

What will you be doing?

On a day-to-day level, you will…

1. Market Making: Execute trades and provide continuous liquidity in a single stock or a set of assigned stocks, ensuring efficient and competitive bid/ask spreads.
2. Pricing Analysis: Monitor and analyze relevant market data, news, and trends to make informed pricing decisions, and adjust quotes accordingly to maintain competitive pricing in real-time.
3. Risk Management: Assess and manage the inherent risks associated with market making, such as inventory risk, execution risk, and market risk. Implement risk management strategies to optimize profitability while minimizing exposure.
4. Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers, institutional clients, and exchanges to enhance market access, gain market insights, and maximize trading opportunities.
5. Collaboration: Work closely with traders, quantitative analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to improve trading strategies, enhance trading algorithms, and contribute to overall trading performance.

Who are we looking for?

Someone who...

• Has extensive ETF experience.
• In-depth knowledge of equity markets, trading protocols, and order routing mechanisms. Familiarity with market microstructure concepts is highly desirable.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex market data and make sound trading decisions under time pressure
• Has extensive single stock market making experience.

This is a remote role with office based in New York.
