- Daily interactions with hiring managers and/or candidates to identify required skills, screen resumes, creation of interview guides perform phone screens and conduct first round interviews.
- Interact and build successful relationships with leaders, managers and supervisors and serve as a primary source of recruitment strategy, consultation, and education.
- Provide training support to the Learning and Development team
- Responsible for sourcing and screening candidates for a variety of non-exempt and salaried positions.
- Make sound decisions based on established competencies and forward recommended candidates to hiring managers for final interviews.
- Work with hiring managers to build custom interview processes, as needed.
- Responsible for administrative elements of recruiting including completion of pre-employment paperwork and the processing of background checks.
- Responsible for utilizing job boards, referrals, and other sourcing methods as appropriate to generate candidate flow.
- Meet with employees one on one to discuss their development and/or feedback that hiring managers have provided.
- Act as a system administrator for Arizona Financial applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Partner with Learning team/hiring managers to provide feedback on the development of newly hired employees.
- Recommend new policies and practices to find efficiencies and improve the overall onboarding process.
Required Qualifications
Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent two-year college or technical school or combination of education and experience. Three to five years’ experience full life cycle recruiting, employee onboarding or related human resources field. Experience in managing projects. Experience in managing external vendor relationships. Proficiency in PC software applications in a Windows environment, Word, Excel and Power Point is. Ability to type 45 words per minute. Ability to read, write and speak in English. Ability to communicate verbally both in person and on the telephone. Ability to write business correspondence, reports, proposals and procedure manuals. Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, financial reports, legal documents and government regulations. Ability to speak effectively to members and coach employees regarding sensitive inquiries or issues. Ability to speak effectively presenting information to groups of employees and management. Ability to calculate rates, ratios and percentages.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business or education related field PHR/SPHR certification.
Physical Requirements:
Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel or crouch.
Frequently required to sit.
Regularly required to use hands to finger keys accurately when using calculator machines or computer keyboards; reach with hands and arms.
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, ability to adjust focus.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Must be able to travel independently to department and branch locations.
