The Sr. Specialist, Supply Chain Management will support the Integrated Mission Systems Supply Chain Center of Excellence, managing large, complex project initiatives of substantial importance to the organization. Projects will include, but not be limited to, building and implementation of risk management framework around supply chain business systems, broad scale Property data management and integration/migration into ERP systems, business system audit readiness, policy and procedure update, communications, and participation in kaizan/six sigma process improvement initiatives. Candidates should have expert knowledge within the job area and in-depth knowledge of project management.
The Sr. Specialist, SCM communicates within and outside of the organization to explain and influence changes to practices, processes and approaches and drives significant improvements in processes and systems. Additionally, the SCM Lead will provides input into new products/processes and implements operational plans that have measurable impact on business or functional results.
Essential Functions
- Lead initiatives to develop risk management frameworks around Purchasing, Property, MMAS and Small Business/Supplier Diversity requirements
- Manage, migrate, and execute changes to SAP master data (e.g. vendor, material, purchasing info record, bill of material etc.) as approved by the business
- Position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance, which requires US citizenship
- Work with POCs from across the IMS Segment on Policy & Procedure updates, training, sharing and leveraging of best practices, and resolving process issues, including leading teams to identify root cause and put forth recommended corrective actions
- Ability to travel up to 10%
- Expert in finding, analyzing, and converting data to help drive improvement.
- Participate in projects and initiatives across multiple functional areas and regions
- Develop and implement Center of Excellence communication plan
- Ability to communicate, influence, and lead across multiple levels, teams, and business units.
- Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; operates with a high degree of autonomy.
- Ensure data quality, compliance, and consistency of master data across business systems
- Manage and maintain SCM Center of Excellence master project schedule
Qualifications:
- US Citizenship
- 5+ years’ experience operating in ERP systems
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or other related discipline and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
- 5+ years of Supply Chain, Subcontracts, Operations, material management, planning, and/or procurement experience.
- 5+ years’ experience working with the FAR and DFARS
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in data analytics, business processes and process flows.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Prior experience with Visio
- SAP experience a plus.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $68,500 - $127,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
