Supply Chain Planner Jobs

Duties: • Responsible for the short-term detailed production/procurement schedule of assigned materials. This may include direct material procurement, intermediate production, finished good packaging, and/or contract manufactured materials. • Achieve the corporate goals of customer service levels, inventory targets, back-order minimization, continuous supply of our products and minimized outdated inventory. • Routinely interface with fellow Planners, Production Execution, Quality Management, Inbound/Outbound Logistics, TPM, Manufacturing Management, CMOs, Vendors, and other business partners. • Develop and implement weekly and monthly finite schedules for assigned materials based on requirements, component availability, and capacity of assigned work centers. • Communicate with manufacturing management and floor personnel or vendors concerning daily production issues that affect the completion of the schedule. • Maintain appropriate inventory levels of assigned materials to support inventory goals and production requirements. • Responsible for analyzing and managing appropriate inventory control actions regarding short dated or expired or obsolete materials. • Analysis and development of appropriate safety stock levels for assigned materials. • Coordinate and plan non-commercial demand (product development batches) and new product launches. • Support senior management in strategic planning and decision making. • Identify necessary updates to Master Recipes for assigned materials in conjunction with MDM, PE, and QM. • Maintain MRP material master data for assigned materials utilizing the MDM process. Education: • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Economics, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field
