Northrop Grumman is in need of a Supply Chain Planning Specialist to work at its Elkton, Maryland facility.
Description
  • Create and maintain Manufacturing orders in conjunction with Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
  • Participates in long-term capacity and resource planning to ensure proper scheduling of new product line phase-ins as well as existing product line phase-outs
  • Initiate timely material staging in support of the Production schedule
  • Responsible for the assessment of supply resources; aggregates and prioritizes demand requirements; plans inventory, distribution requirements, production, and materials
  • Planning and coordination of program requirements
  • Create and manage the life cycle of manufacturing orders, supporting accurate component inventory and cost accumulation
  • Monitoring and establishing material inventory levels based on dependent and independent Bill-of-Materials (BOM)

Basic Qualifications
  • Strong working knowledge with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Robust analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Must be a US citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance
  • Must have at least 7 years of experience. Will consider those with a bachelors degree and 3 years of experience or those with a Masters degree and at least 1year of experience. Strong preference for those with Supply Chain, Planning, Operations, or Project Management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Critical Path Management, FAR and DFAR
  • Experience interpreting engineering drawings
  • Minimum 3 years' cost, schedule, and quality software experience
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain processes, strongly preferred
  • People leadership
  • Team oriented
  • Proficient in Enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems for material data analysis
Salary Range: $67,000 USD - $100,400 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
