Are you a Purchasing / Procurement and Supply Chain specialist who is interested in an exciting new challenge with one of the leading Aerospace & Space companies in Colorado?
Role Summary:
This is a very people-facing role within a precision machining and manufacturing environment, so you need to be someone who enjoys being proactive in phoning and emailing vendors and suppliers of raw materials like plastics and metals. You will also be working closely with various internal teams as a crucial part of delivering on our contracts, partnering with the likes of the estimating, engineering, machining/production, and quality departments.
What we need to see:
- Self-motivated: The ability to show initiative and autonomy and work with minimal supervision.
- Experience using ERP/QMS systems (we use JobBOSS and SimpleTrak, but experience in other alternative systems is also good)
- 2+ years of experience in aerospace or similar roles within supply chain, purchasing, or related fields for raw materials or components, etc.
- People person with Strong Comms skills
- Proficiently use Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel)
- Strong Organisational skills: Have the ability to keep track of orders and ensure they arrive on time
- Results-driven with a focus on continuous improvement
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently ensure deadlines are met.
Desirable (but not essential) skills:
- Government & Defense Exposure: Previous involvement with Government & Defense contracts.
- Experience with

- Prior experience in precision machining and assembly, CNC environments.
- Familiarity with Lean principles and tools (Lean certification is a plus).
