Position Description:

The Supply Chain Manager is a people manager responsible for the planning and management of all activities involved in sourcing and procurement.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Support new business supply chain bill of materials estimating
• Understand, negotiate, and enforce contracts with legal support
• Lead the Supply Chain team for executing programs from Kick Off to Delivery through End of Life
• Implement new or improved supply chain processes to improve efficiency or performance.
• Analyze information about supplier performance or procurement program success.
• Supplier evaluation, selection, and final selection on strategic sources
• Support new business supply chain bill of materials estimating
• Create and own program plans, weekly status meetings, agendas, meeting minutes and action lists per suppliers
• Writing strategy documents that clearly communicate supply chain vision to senior leadership Manage activities related to strategic or tactical purchasing, material requirements planning, controlling inventory, warehousing, or receiving.
• Managing and developing relationships with key suppliers
• Analyze inventories to determine how to increase inventory turns, reduce waste, or optimize customer service.
• Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers, vendors, or freight forwarders.
• Define performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of supply chain factors, such as product cost or quality.
• Create and manage commodity specific request for proposals

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
• 10+ years of supply chain
• 3+ years of or project management experience
• 5+ years of exp managing complex supplier developed components
• 5+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or Supply chain
• Must be a US Person (US Citizen or Green Card Holder)

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chainrs
• 15+ years of supply chain
• Experience building processes, project management, and schedule
• Familiarity in aerospace or space product development
• Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
• 5+ years of driving process improvements experience
• 5+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience

Compensation & Benefits:

• Paid Time Off and Flexible Schedule: You may accrue 4 weeks paid time off per year, in addition to 8 company holidays. You may also have the choice to take Flexible Friday off every other week.
• 401(k) with up to 3% company match
• Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.

• Employer-paid Medical, Dental, Vision, basic and supplemental life insurance, short and long-term disability.
• Compensation range is $140-170K + 10+% target bonus
• Supplemental paid parental leave.
• Base salary is one part of your total rewards package - you may also be eligible for up to 10+% potential bonuses. Additional employee benefits are detailed below as well.
