Job Description
The Innovation team within CCB Operations is in place to solve real problems by bringing the most compelling emerging technologies into our organization. We do this through a process of discovery, proofs of technology, and end user pilots. Our goal is to unlock acceleration, value, and best-in-class experiences that position our 30K+ global Operations colleagues to deliver superior services to our employees and our customers.


We are seeking a Sr. Ops Innovation Analyst to support delivering the next generation solutions for CCB Operations.


This role helps us understand what is happening across the external environment, conducts due diligence on companies or technology we have interest in, assembles competitive intelligence on trends potentially impacting how we do business, and is instrumental in articulating the value proposition of a technology or company. You will also play a fundamental role in managing updates on team initiatives and support organizing innovation communications (including website), events and sessions.


Key Responsibilities


  • Manage regular reporting on initiatives to business partners and executive management
  • Help drive our communication and engagement strategy within Operations and the firm by supporting events, forums and information sharing sessions
  • Work with functional partners - Technology, Risk, Controls, Legal, Compliance, Third-Party Oversight, Sourcing, etc. - to understand required process steps for initiatives
  • Conduct research, data analysis, competitive intelligence, and prepare relevant insights to inform the innovation strategy team, product owners and leadership teams across the organization
  • Articulate emerging tech strategies and complex information into executive-level presentations
  • Manage updates to Innovation website and idea submission prioritization
  • Engage with third-party technology providers to understand their offerings and execute NDA's as needed


Required Qualifications, Skills And Capabilities


  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills across functions and all levels (senior executives and peers)
  • MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint proficiency required; HTML and Tableau experience a plus
  • Emerging end-to-end generalist problem solving skills (problem definition, quantitative and qualitative analysis, analyzing data, interpreting industry research)
  • Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of relevant experience in Financial Services product, marketing, research, customer experience or technology
  • Strong communication skills (both written and visual); ability to create compelling presentations that summarize a tech landscape, product attributes, story, strategy, etcetera
  • Deep sense of intellectual curiosity that drives constant learning about new technologies and solutions

  • Experience in an agile environment or willingness to complete agile training, to assist in crafting user stories and journeys to translate the business objectives for supporting our tech team
  • Team player with ability to build strong cross-business and cross-functional relationships
  • Self-motivated individual that demonstrates initiative with proven flexibility, adaptability, and reliability with minimal supervision
  • Comfort with ambiguity; flexibility to take on new roles and responsibilities as initiatives evolve
