Tremco Construction Products Group brings together Tremco CPG Inc.’s Commercial Sealants & Waterproofing and Roofing & Building Maintenance divisions; Tremco Barrier Solutions Inc.; Dryvit, Nudura and Willseal brands; Prebuck LLC; Weatherproofing Technologies, Inc.; Weatherproofing Technologies Canada and PureAir Control Services, Inc. Altogether, Tremco CPG companies operate 21 manufacturing facilities, 6 distribution sites, and 3 R&D/technology sites, and employ more than 2,700 people across North America.

The VP of Operations provides strategic and tactical leadership for Tremco CPG - Sealants, Nudura, Dryvit, Sealex, PreBuck, and Schul manufacturing operations. This position typically formulates policy for this area but does not necessarily have final authority for approving policy.

This position works on-site in Beachwood, OH.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Recruits, trains, motivates, evaluates, develops and manages a team of direct reports capable of meeting the organization’s objectives. Builds bench to ensure growth and succession.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Partners with Tremco CPG Group VP of Operations and RPM VP of Operations to incorporate group level and RPM initiatives into Tremco CSW business
• Senior operations executive in the Tremco CPG organization.
• Partner with Sealants, Dryvit, and Nudura operations leadership to develop 1 to 3-year capacity plans.
• Ensures continued financial viability of operational units through sound fiscal management, preventative service maintenance and capital expenditure planning.
• Models the values and expectations of 168 - integrity, responsible entrepreneurship, commitment, and moral courage
• Develops strategic plans and annual budgets in support of business objectives. Ensures execution of objectives in support of overall plan.
• Partner with Sealants, Dryvit, and Nudura operations leadership and HR regarding the development and deployment of talent across the North American Operations.
• Directs the development and implementation of system(s) to track and report on the progress of the strategic plan implementation.
• Provides effective, inspiring and motivating leadership by being actively involved in all programs and services and developing a broad and deep knowledge of all programs.
• Applies a variety of field-related concepts, best practices, and procedures in RPM MS168 and other leading state-of-the-art, organizational system thinking for operational initiatives and strategies.
• Demonstrates accepted ethical and professional business behavior.
• Leads, directs and oversees all aspects of the organization's operational infrastructure.
• Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

EDUCATION

• STEM education preferred
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred

EXPERIENCE

• Extensive experience with ERP systems and Microsoft productivity tools
• 10+ years of related experience
• 10+ years of operations management experience; multiple facilities experience preferred.
• Deep experience in program budgeting, fiscal management and strategic planning.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Certifications for efficient manufacturing measures i.e. Six Sigma, LEAN, Continuous Improvement, etc.

The base salary range is negotiable depending on experience plus incentive compensation. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operations, needs, and other considerations permitted by law.
