Sr Analyst - Operations Finance

As a member of the Operations Finance team, you will play a critical role in providing restaurant P&L financial analysis for Wendy’s Company and Franchise restaurants to accelerate Wendy’s growth. In this role, you will support various internal Operations functions and the Franchisees by providing business and financial insights through sound, fact-based, well-reasoned analysis, identifying opportunities to improve operations and drive growth in the Restaurant Economic Model.

• Support the development of budget and forecast assumptions
• Perform financial analyses and communicate results
• Support the analysis of ad hoc projects and recommend solutions
• Participates in key components of the annual restaurant budgeting, monthly forecasting and strategic planning processes.
• Prepares ad hoc analysis or reporting requested by the Operations function, cross-functional partners and Franchisees
• Evaluate the financial impact of strategic initiatives
• Advise on opportunities to improve financial profitability
• Evaluates restaurant performance in various categories including sales, food cost and labor expense. Interpret metrics and results to provide leadership with key indicators of success.
• Conducts detailed financial analysis of various strategic initiatives which impact sales, profitability, cash flows and capital in both Company and Franchise restaurants.

• Effective communication and PowerPoint skills necessary to effectively interpret and communicate results
• High proficiency in Excel, including demonstrated ability to build financial models using advanced formulas and work with large data sets
• Bachelor’s degree in Business (Finance & Accounting majors) or Economics with high academic achievement
• Solid knowledge and experience in the development and application of financial, analytical and budgetary techniques
• 3 to 5 years experience in a finance or analytical role

Pay Range: $73,000 - $124,000 Annually
