WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
This manager leads the Regional Distribution Network across multiple locations and is responsible for the performance of distribution operations relative to safety, operational plans, budget, shipping and inventory accuracy.
  • Lead warehouse operations audits for all of the facilities in the region.
  • Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures. Contribute to standard policy and procedures.
  • Align with Supply Chain and Sales to achieve operational objectives in safety, cost, customer service, delivery and inventory.
  • Champion safety.
  • Recruit, hire, train and develop staff.
  • Ensure staff is adequately trained and licensed, precautions are taken to protect company assets, and buildings, materials, equipment and grounds are maintained.
  • Lead development of the regional financial operating plan, which includes manpower requirements, equipment, maintenance, safety and security.
  • Lead and provide technical expertise to the regional team in support of organizational objectives.

Qualifications
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
  • Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A steady performer under pressure.
  • Familiar with Lean distribution methodologies.
  • Requires computer literacy in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Expert experiential knowledge of fiscal control, budget forecasting, and distribution operations metrics.
  • Requires at least 8 years relevant experience.
  • Excellent leadership and able to build successful teams.
  • Requires at least 3 years experience managing large, multi-shift, high volume warehouses.
  • Excellent decision making and creative problem solving skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of regional distribution center best practices, policies, procedures, and terms of trade.
