Position Summary


The Sr. Manager, Membership & Process Improvement, will be responsible for providing an objective assessment to how well Membership programs are running and will create action plans to refine all aspects that are needed to make business processes easier, faster, more affordable, and of better quality. Additionally, they will be responsible for membership engagement, retention, and acquisition by developing, implementing, and managing Alignment Health programs designed to demonstrate value for all types of membership.


General Duties/Responsibilities (May Include But Are Not Limited To)


  • Makes hiring and training decisions for the team.
  • Develops strategies for data collection to assist other business units in the development and delivery of content.
  • Runs and reviews reports to ensure current policies, procedures, and processes are adding value to the organization.
  • Reports to senior leadership on processes and programs that can be refined, and presents return on investment information.
  • Serves as the membership database subject matter expert by evaluating current data, determining membership related information needed across the organization.
  • Explores opportunities to improve capacity, utilization, and drive superior customer service support. Offers innovative solutions to issues that impact our employees and customers.
  • Improves performance by raising efficiency and exploring new technologies and process improvements.
  • Develops resources, creates a communication plan to encourage engagement from members.
  • Manages and implements engagement activities for current and future communities.
  • Handles escalated and complex customer inquiries/concerns.
  • Identifies opportunities and executes changes to develop a consistent, scalable service model, which is a sustainable completive advantage.
  • Creates and implements strategies to improve the member experience.
  • Identifies potential new members based on behavior/current engagement.
  • Utilizes communities to identify new audiences.
  • Develops, implements, and manages member benefits portfolios.


Supervisory Responsibilities


  • Responsible for managing, hiring, training, and leading the membership and process improvement teams.

Minimum Experience


  • Self-starter with an energetic personality, comfortable working alone or with a team.
  • Five or more years of membership engagement experience
  • Excellent knowledge of marketing concepts, practices, and tactics.


Education/Licensure


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field


Other


  • Strong written, verbal, and digital communication skills.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional teams and workflows
  • Creative person who can think outside the box.
  • Demonstrated experience with project management
