The Senior Director, Human Resources is a strategic and operational business partner responsible for managing all HR activities associated with assigned client groups within Zimmer Biomet’s Corporate Functions. Reporting to the VP, HR of Corporate Functions, this position drives organizational change, talent strategy aligned with business needs in alignment with Zimmer Biomet’s strategic business objectives.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide HR leadership across various client groups within the corporate functions.
- Determines strategic direction, sets priorities and allocates staff assignments in the support of the HR practice at the client group level.
- Coaches and advises management on a wide variety of talent and organizational matters including policy and practice issues. Reviews and approves management decisions affecting matters of employment.
- Partners with key internal customers to develop talent and organizational strategy and processes to support and advance the business
- Works with senior leaders and executives to plan and execute HR programs and initiatives.
- Deploy and drive change management and transformation efforts, including team member engagement initiatives

Education/Experience Requirements
- Experience establishing credible relationships and viewed as a trusted advisor
- Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of related experience, or High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 16+ years of related experience, required.
Travel Requirements
Up to 20%
