- This job also supports the administration of the human resources policies, procedures, and programs.
- This job is a member of the Team Member Investigations/Team Member Relations team within the People Division.
- Conducts ongoing HR training and guidance on all work environment related matters
- Conducts various data analysis on complaints and related metrics, monitors for patterns and trends to identify areas of concern
- Partner with internal and external counsel when appropriate
- Conducts ongoing formal and informal HR training on matters such as sexual harassment and discrimination
- Provides investigations findings and summaries
- Conducts and/or supports investigations into claims of potential harassment and discrimination; escalates to senior personnel as needed
- Conducts investigations into claims of potential harassment and discrimination; escalates to senior leadership as needed; partner with operational leadership in investigations into workplace misconduct and potential violations of company policies
- Serves as an advocate for our employees
- Represents the HR partner team on various projects/committees
- Investigates and drafts responses for external complaints and charges to defend the Company's position and interests
- Partners with operational leadership in investigations into potential violations of company policies
Minimum Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training
- Must be thoroughly familiar with state and federal employment laws including but not limited to; FMLA, ADA, FLSA, NLRB, Title VII, etc.
- 3 years of professional level experience in 1 or more of the following areas: employee relations; internal affairs; investigative reporting/writing; EEOC Investigations; or mediation/arbitration.
- 1 years of experience handling internal complaint investigations
- Prior experience working with represented groups
- Ability to have strong initiative and solid judgment abilities/skills
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships, be able to partner, use a subtle style and work collaboratively with others
- Ability to demonstrate excellent project management skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
- Ability to travel
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and produce results
- Ability to demonstrate effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
