Tomorrow Water is hiring an entry-level Electrical/I&C(Instrumentation and Control) project engineer at its Anaheim, California headquarters. Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare material purchase specifications for I&C components and auxiliary items related to a project.
  • Follow and implement document control procedures.
  • Obtains and reviews plans and specifications and determines their completeness and consistency.
  • Support the engineering and design development of the company products, systems, and equipment specifications.
  • Review design documents prepared by other engineers, subcontractors, and drafters to ensure they meet the project scope, client’s needs, and Our quality standards
  • Develop control configuration schemes and P&ID
  • Develop instruments datasheet.
  • Provide Field assistance where necessary.
  • Apply the latest codes and engineering standards related to job tasks.
  • Preparation of purchase orders to material suppliers.
  • Assist or execute electrical/I&C engineering functions for the design, installation and stat-up of municipal / industrial water and wastewater projects including preliminary engineering, detail engineering, and construction support by effectively utilizing resources to deliver the engineering deliverables and integrated systems
  • Some travel is required.


Requirements

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of electrical or Instrumentation and control specifications and relevant education and/or experience is preferred.
  • Preferred work experience working for an engineering, utilities, or water/wastewater industry.
  • Basic knowledge of water/wastewater is preferred.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite of tools and AutoCAD.
  • Bachelor’s in electrical Engineering or relevant fields.
