Your Role and Responsibilities

The Sr Delivery Manager as a non-people manager is a critical role within IBM, leading medium to large sized projects of moderate or greater complexity, involving multiple customer stakeholders and a distributed, cross-functional team including subcontractors and part-time Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). The Sr Delivery Manager should be technical, communicative, respected within their area, and have a growth mindset.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Experience leading medium to large sized projects of moderate or greater complexity, involving multiple customer stakeholders and a distributed, cross-functional team including subcontractors and part-time SMEs
• Excellent customer relationship management skills including effective oral and written communications
• Strong analytical skills; ability to research issues and provide solutions

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience with Human Capital Shared Services
• Develop business cases and multi-year strategic improvement road maps
• Demonstrated experience with project reporting/financial management

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
