What You’ll be Doing


You’ll help to bring our enterprise-wide talent development strategy and uniquely NBCUniversal development experiences to life. Our days regularly toggle between the big-picture planning and curation of our development experiences to examining the small details that make them a success. These efforts help our talent keep up with the NBCUniversal diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA) learning efforts including reinforcing our common language and best practices. You’ll play an important part in creating scalable learning so NBCUniversal is equipped to commit to an equitable and inclusive workplace.


At The Core Of This Role, You Will
  • Demonstrate commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment.
  • INSPIRE, our immersive service learning experience designed in partnership with the buildOn organization, focused on developing skills such as empathy, curiosity, and passion for the possible.
  • SERVE, our nonprofit board leadership experience
  • Have your voice heard by providing in-person & virtual facilitation for select Talent Lab experiences including but not limited to:
  • Support multiple Talent Lab experiences, both based in NY and globally which will include experience coordination & logistics, project planning, communication, learning design and facilitation.
  • PRO BONO, our experience for leaders to utilize their functional skills to consult with nonprofits while sharpening inclusive leadership skills
  • Create core, common and critical learning content, tools, videos and guides that can be scaled across the organization.
  • The integration of DEIA into leadership development experiences across the Talent Development portfolio


Your Responsibilities
  • Create from scratch – helping to brainstorm and execute on truly unique learning for new and existing experiences.
  • Partner on designing scalable solutions for the organization:
  • Manage existing vendor relationships and evaluate future vendor partners
  • Design learning content
  • Project manage our experiences
  • Create short learning videos via scriptwriting, recording and editing
  • Help to deliver on our Talent Lab experiences:
  • Curate and design best-in-practice tools and guides to stand alone and accompany labs
  • Host and facilitate experiences (both in-person and virtual)
  • Leverage different media and design elements to create memorable learning content
  • Ensure the quality of the learning experience for all our talent, from logistics to learning materials to meals and other networking opportunities (when we’re in person again)

Qualifications


Basic Requirements:


What You’ll Have


We’re a lean team that moves quickly, so to jump on in, we’ll expect that you have:


  • A bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Human Resources or equivalent experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
  • Ability to travel as needed, up to 20% of the time.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines.
  • At least 3+ years of experience in talent management processes, organizational development, and/or designing, developing, and delivering learning solutions in the new hire, new manager and individual contributor space.
  • Experience as a facilitator in virtual and in-person environments.
  • Experience designing for in-person learning as well as video-based or online learning and have experience in multiple delivery modes.


Desired Characteristics


You’ve put in more time developing yourself than the bare minimum and have developed further expertise in the talent, strategy, and design space, which may include:


  • Experience or familiarity with nonprofit organizations
  • Experience in curating and creating learning content (videos, guides)
  • Educational background and/or experience working on diversity-related programs or initiatives
  • Familiarity with: Articulate Rise, SharePoint, Success Factors LMS, LinkedIn Learning, Campaign Monitor, inDesign, Canva


Additional Requirements


  • Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.


This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
