Our Client is a fast-growing technology provider in the high and medium-voltage energy sector and is looking to expand its US business development, sales, and marketing activities. This role will partner with policymakers, regulators, investors, developers, lenders, and industrial and utility companies as they increasingly seek new products and solutions to expand their grids, reduce their carbon footprints, and operate more efficiently.
The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.
Responsibilities
- Develop new relationships in an effort to grow business and help the company expand
- Identify partnership opportunities
- Shape and craft value propositions for the market
- Identify and map stakeholders in the key areas, including manufacturing partners and associated equipment suppliers
- Maintain existing business
- Think critically when planning to assure project success
- Develop and implement a plan to grow products to target markets and key accounts
Qualifications
- Ability to work semi-autonomously whilst being a member of a tight-knit team
- Focused and goal-oriented
- Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-starter, able to drive and foster enduring relationships and build a quality pipeline.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 7 - 10 years' prior industry-related business development experience
- Ability to adapt to changing market needs and draw out customer requirements.
