Job Description
Rotex is looking for a Sourcing Project Manager to join our team in Cincinnati, OH. As a Sourcing Project manager you will be responsible to initiate, organize and manage globally defined Global Supply Management programs within Rotex and the other APS locations in the USA and Canada.

What you’ll do:
  • Support locally driven optimization programs focusing on inventory management, standardization, and material planning
  • Derive Advanced Analytics from locally available and enriched data to identify Supply Base risks and opportunities
  • Develop and control deadlines, budgets and activities
  • Provide meaningful analytics and score cards to enable the development of high impact strategies and programs
  • Contact and negotiate with key suppliers in support of the Productivity, Working Capital and other goals of the organization
  • Drive master data integrity and quality together with local partner functions from Supply Chain, Finance and Engineering
  • Resolve projects’ higher scope issues and initiate related escalation processes if required
  • Develop and manage performance score cards to effectively monitor GSM impact related to productivity, quality, working capital and delivery
  • Conduct process maturity assessments and drive GSM related process improvements based on aligned improvement plans
  • Prepare and provide reports and score cards to inform all relevant stakeholder about all projects in scope
  • Formulate, organize and align project charters with clear defined strategies, objectives, responsibilities and implementation plans
  • Organize and facilitate cross-functional GSM / BU productivity funnel conventions to build a strong long-term funnel of opportunities
  • Continuously assess program performance across all projects in scope with the aim to maximize ROI
  • Conduct process maturity assessments and drive GSM related process improvements based on aligned improvement plans
  • Acting as a key-user for global tools for US sites (e.g. supplier management, sourcing & business intelligence)
  • Technically lead and evaluate interdisciplinary team members
  • Prepare and manage GSM / Site related productivity conventions (cross-functional) to build a strong funnel of measures together with Supply Chain and Engineering
  • Apply change, risk and resource management
The goals are to be achieved with financially and ethically sound methods, with an emphasis on the principles of the Hillenbrand Operating Model (HOM).
Basic Requirements:
  • Proven success in global Project and Program Management and in leading interdisciplinary cross-functional team
  • Bachelor degree in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent;
  • Separate expert level certifications in Lean/Six Sigma, Design to Cost and Project Management methodologies
  • 3+ years’ experience as Supplier Account Manager and/or Strategic Buyer and/or Site Project Procurement Management
Great to Haves:
  • Advanced analytical and conceptual skills combined with the ability to drive results and use the relevant IT tools (e.g. PowerBI)
  • Understanding and implementing our Core Values and the Hillenbrand Operating Model (HOM)
  • Sourcing experience and advanced intercultural sensitivity
  • Supply base risk management
  • Proficient skills in Business English
  • Advanced knowledge about Source-2-Contract processes, Supplier Contract Management and procurement world-class requirements
  • Project management and interdisciplinary teamwork
