Job Details

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily production operations, including inventory planning, production scheduling, and material management
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies
• Collaborate with engineering and quality control teams to ensure that products meet design specifications and quality standards
• Develop and manage budgets for production operations
• Monitor and analyze production metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
• Identify and implement process improvements to optimize production efficiency and reduce costs
• Lead and mentor production staff to ensure a high level of performance and productivity
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards
• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and productivity

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in an operations management role in the engineering industry
• Excellent planning and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other production management software
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements in the engineering industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field
• Experience with inventory planning, production scheduling, and material management
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team
