Job Description

Position: Squad Leader

Duration : Perm

Salary : 70-80k base

Openings : 5

Location : Columbus

Must Haves:

  • An inspirational leader with the ability to cultivate a vibrant culture that is aligned to company values
  • 5+ years of Logistics experience, 3+ years in a people management role leading a team
  • Thrived in a nimble setting within a new industry and company defining the market
  • A “get it done” attitude that drives goal achievement in any team you lead
  • A leader that is able to identify and address variation in our processes and the client experience
  • Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills and the ability to provide thought leadership and mentoring to an 6-10-person team of direct reports
  • Customer-centric with a proven track record of optimizing the client experience
  • A problem-solver, able to take on the most complex and ambiguous problem statements
  • BA/BS degree or relevant experience

Pluses:

  • History of growing teams in a startup atmosphere
  • Experience in ZenDesk or another leading CRM solution

Our Client is seeking a Squad Leader to expand and optimize our 24/7 omnichannel client services in current and new geographies.

As a Squad Leader, you will hire, train, and lead a team of logistics experts focused on providing a world-class shipping experience for our customers. You will understand our client’s evolving needs deeply and build processes and mechanisms to ensure success.

You will provide strong leadership and strategic vision to client success to optimize capacity planning, boost agent knowledge and tools to streamline internal and client-facing workflows. You will influence the overall impression and trust that clients have in our service.

You Will:

  • Hire, manage, lead, and develop a team of logistics experts
  • Define and track KPIs on the team’s performance, both holistically and at the individual level, and set team goals and priorities to continuously improve
  • Drive teams to retain, nurture and grow key client relationships
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure that Client Support provides solutions that align well with other teams efforts to achieve company goals
  • Equip teams to quickly adopt new support tools and systems to automate and reduce processing times while improving the quality of our services
  • Build a culture of Client Obsession, Relentless Improvement and World-Class Teamwork
  • Respond to and resolve client escalations; build processes to eliminate repeat issues
  • Serve as a partner for our clients to help them navigate complex shipping needs
