In a time of unprecedented expansion, we are seeking a Sourcing Project Manager to join our global leadership team. The Sourcing Project Manager will manage several key projects simultaneously working with cross-functional departments to manage every stage of a project’s lifecycle. Reporting to the VP of Global Sourcing, you will streamline the team’s project management processes, leveraging skills in critical thinking, creative problem solving, and analysis. This position requires excellent organizational and communication skills, along with the ability to thrive under tight deadlines. The successful applicant will have 5+ years project management experience.  This position is hybrid at our headquarters in Carson, California. 
A day in the office looks like this:

• Managing complex projects and timelines from inception to completion
• Providing weekly project updates for all active projects 
• Developing and implementing project management optimization and process improvement
• Leading internal meetings and project review sessions while taking notes and assigning and tracking action items
• Providing detailed updates to management through both written and verbal communication
• Following up with project teams to maintain project momentum and ensure deliverable dates are adhered to
• Escalating encountered risks with respect to project dependencies   
• Serving as a liaison between cross functional teams, leadership and vendors

Qualifications
Got the skills and experience? Here’s what we’re looking for:

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel (VLOOKUP and pivot tables)   
• Outstanding presentation and communication skills   
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Ability to work under tight deadline in a fast-paced setting  
• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in Project Management experience.
• Strong quantitative, analytical and critical-thinking skills with superb accuracy and attention to detail   
• Experience and knowledge of Global Sourcing, vendor management and products as they relate to Lakeshore’s current catalog, a plus
• An organized mind with a talent for problem solving   
• Proven ability to think strategically, develop achievable long-term goals and build strong internal partnerships

• Salary: $72,000-$80,000 with an annual bonus of up to 10%
