Best Solutions Educational Services, LLC is an Educational Consulting firm which provides educational advocacy services in municipalities throughout the United States. Our advocates support parents in obtaining and maintaining Individualized Educational Plans for their children. Strategic planning for positive outcomes with school teams is provided based on knowledge of Federal Laws and provisions provided under the Office of Civil Rights for 504 Plans and FAPE.

Position: Educational Advocate (Representation Nationally)

Hours: Part time

Salary: Based on experience

Provide advocacy support to clients by playing a key role in helping students with special needs and disabilities obtain the services they need. Collaborate with parents and school teams, research solutions, offer expert opinions in school meetings, and navigate laws and regulations to ensure positive outcomes for children. Represent families in IEP and 504 Plan meetings (virtual and onsite meetings). Position is primarily virtual due to COVID-19 restrictions in school buildings. Off-site work is required to complete case management tasks.

Preferred:

• Knowledge of federal laws and regulations pertaining to special education
• Microsoft Word and Excel
