Software Qa And Test Manager

You’ll be helping to develop world-beating games in the location-based entertainment industry. That means developing thrilling new rides in exciting locations. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans, as well as identifying and documenting software defects and inconsistencies. Your expertise in software testing methodologies and tools will be instrumental in improving our product's performance and user experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify, track, and document software defects and issues using bug tracking tools, ensuring their timely resolution
• Decide when each new build is ready for release and push those releases
• Produce monthly and ad hoc reports on testing progress for senior stakeholders, working closely with the Project Director
• Perform regular tests, reporting on the outcomes and recommending solutions, working with software developers and engineers to identify root causes
• Design and develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure thorough and comprehensive testing coverage
• Drive the implementation of improvements for re-testing and sign off
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system-level testing to validate the software's behavior and performance
• Lead the test program liaising with other stakeholders to prioritize testing and improvement in an Agile environment
• Provide guidance and support to colleagues to further the embedding of quality assurance in all we do
• Participate in design and code reviews to provide input on testability and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Take briefs from responsible individuals from creative, software and engineering backgrounds, quickly identifying the key elements of focus
• Design and build a robust test plan for the game, incorporating existing tests and gaining commitment from key stakeholders

Requirements:

• Ability to analyze complex systems and effectively communicate issues and recommendations to a diverse team
• Proficiency in programming languages, such as Java, Python, or C++, to develop automated test scripts.
• Proven experience in software testing and quality assurance
• Experience with manual and automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Demonstrable knowledge of software testing methodologies, test plan development, and test case creation.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams internationally
• Excellent problem-solving skills
