The QA Engineer will work closely with the development and product teams to support projects including home security and home automation. You will partner closely with functional leads in a fast-moving, agile team.
The QA Engineer will be hands-on in all SDLC test aspects including:

• Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
• Create logs to document testing phases and defects
• Report bugs and errors to development teams
• Evaluate product code according to specifications for each sprint / release cycle
• Help troubleshoot issues
• Conduct post-fix/ post-release/ post-implementation testing
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
• Use automated testing software to include Selenium or Cypress
• Set up and maintain testing framework to include regression testing

Job Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills
• 1-3 years related experience
• Working knowledge of test management software and SQL
• Attention to detail
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors

Nice-to-have skills:

• Experience with usability testing and analyzing user feedback and behavior
• Linux/Unix - Shell scripting and/or debugging logs
• SQL queries for testing/debugging
• Rest/Web Services testing
• Familiarity with agile methodology and scrum

The salary range for this role is $73,066-$146,131 and is based on experience and qualifications.
Certain roles are eligible for annual bonus and may include equity. These awards are allocated based on company and individual performance.
